Beautiful exploration of bike culture worldwide.

This short bike-umentary is a must-see for anyone who loves bicycles or has any interest in transportation reform. I've seen this film many times now and its message is still fresh: The bicycle is used as a primary mode of transportation worldwide and it should be used this way in America as well.

Ted White intersperses telling interviews with first class footage of bicycle use from the US to Amsterdam to China. Inherent in this documentary's exploration of America's relationship with the bicycle is a potent critique of our society's love affair with the automobile. If you haven't ridden your bike for a while, you'll want to after seeing this film!

An interesting side note: The Critical Mass movement got its name from a fascinating scene in this documentary.

A great phenomenon and a step forward!!!

This film describes the great vibe people get from Critical Mass, which is of course a ride that get all kinds of people come together to celebrate cycling. This film describes in detail the interaction of these people while occupying the new kind of public transport with great sense of liberation and closeness with the fellow cyclists. Fundamentally this is a "must see" film describing a phenomenon that majority of people should take part in, in order to reclaim their space from the shackles of today's system in presenting people with a viable alternative. This film gives the audience a number of different ideas on how to think individually and notice the world around us; and how the general public and government react to it.
