Storyline

Emperor Tod Spengo sees Marge Nelson and using a giant magnet, kidnaps her and her husband Dick, hoping to make her his bride before blowing up the Earth. He and other inhabitants of his planet are somewhat less than bright, and Dick begins reliving episodes of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers in order to rescue Marge, save the Earth, and restore the rightful king to the throne. Quotes

Emperor Todd Spengo: On a scale of one-to-ten, in terms of... universe-dominating greatness, where would you place, say... oh, me?
General Afir: A ten sire, most definitely.
Emperor Todd Spengo: [musing] A ten? Hmmm...
[becoming more annoyed]
Emperor Todd Spengo: Well yes, of course a Ten. What else would you think? A six?

Silly, but fun.
12 June 2003 | by See all my reviews

This isn't "The Princess Bride," it's just silly. But silly in a fun way. John Lovitz and Terri Garr give it some substance, but the best part by far is the scene with the "light grenade." I've known folks who would have fit in that scene, just fine.

When you've got some time to waste, and don't care how, this is the movie for you.
