Sex & Nudity

There's no sex or nudity in Malcolm X, except for some kissing moments.

Violence & Gore

Malcolm X's assassination can be disturbing to young viewers, and while during the assassination, gun fire is firing everywhere, and a man gets hit in the arm, and another man gets shot in the leg.

Two prison guards take man by the shirt and throw him into a confinement cell and keep him locked up for days.

A man and a woman argue.

Profanity

There's some brief strong language in the film, the F-word is mentioned twice.

Two men and a woman sniff cocaine, and there are a couple of insidents where characters are seen smoking.

The assassination at the end could be frightening to young viewers, but is expected to happen.
