Tom Sizemore and Pamela Gidley are lovers who can't catch a break, in "Bad Love". The movie is a character study of damaged people, in a damaged relationship. A long series of dead end jobs for both characters eventually leads to desperation, and a robbery that goes terribly wrong. The acting by Sizemore and Gidley is top notch, and Seymour Cassel, as a pawn shop owner is terrific. This is a good primer for what can go bad in a relationship, as Sizemore's jealousy of Gidley's past lovers leads to some very destructive behavior. I was impressed by the honesty of the script. It does not try to sensationalize, but rather seems quite honest about these two lovers on a collision course with disaster. - MERK
