Storyline

Convicted killer Laurence Dvorak grants an exclusive last interview to TV newswoman Alana Powers shortly before his scheduled execution. Urbane and unrepentant, he seems almost mild at first. But Dvorak's real intention is revealed when he takes Powers, her crew and two guards hostage, and demands that the television network broadcast an execution - live. Written by Anonymous

Not bad, could have been better

The story is a little far-fetched, however Bruce Davison's presence on screen managed to compensate for that in part. His character as the cool killer is enjoyable to watch and suitably un-nerving. On the whole a little of a wasted chance at a serious social comment, but a fine performance from Bruce none the less.
