User Reviews

positive action role models for family viewing.

KUNG FU was a remake 0of a series created by BRUCE LEE and one of the WEINTRAUBS. In this follow up KANE is alive and well in a eastern city with his son a cop. The show revovles aroudn asian culture and sometimes supernatural myths like time warps and asian myths. the show was a action adventure hour from the old PTEN line up through warner brothers. The focus of the show was positive family viewing and action adventure. The show was at time a cross between ensamble (with interesting characters like kermit) and at other times focusing on the father and son duo. The series was run in many markets late night on weekends and can be recently seen on tv in afternoons on cable. Unlike some shows which offer only body counts and carnage, the second series like the first tried to offer moral messages and tales of honor and lack thereof. Positive family viewing for all ages.
