Excellent Drama, 20 November 2005
Author: ian1000 from United Kingdom

Any fans of UK Organised Crime films such as The Krays or Robbery will love this tale, based on a true story. All the familiar elements are here, including violent criminals, sinister Underworld bosses, fences, grasses etc.

Real life update:- The robbery was in 1983, and the programme made in 1992. Since then Mickey MacAvoy has been released from jail. The character represented by Trevor Byfield was murdered. Finally, and most famously, Kenneth Noye was sentenced to life for the murder of a driver after an argument - the deceased's fiancé having to go into a witness protection programme in order to be able to give evidence.
