Evilio and his gerbil.
2 September 2010 | by See all my reviews

Evilio,a deranged,knife-wielding maniac abducts three pretty young women and drags them to an abandoned building. He tells his bound and helpless captives that he will call their families one by one-if someone answers the phone that captive will live;if not,a gruesome stabbing death awaits."Evilio" by Santiago Segura of "Day of the Beast" fame is a short and gruesome slasher flick with plenty of blood.Evilio has a pet companion:a gerbil Tito on a rope.He talks a lot, stabs all the girls to death and then is beaten by some street hooligans.Gritty and gory horror short with plenty of humor.I liked it.Its sequel "Evilio el Purificador" is also worth checking out.7 out of 10.
