Diagnosis Murder is an easy to watch program that entertains on a boring afternoon. The plot lines do have some predictability to them- it all turns out alright in the end, but not without some drama before hand. But then again, most shows are pretty guaranteed to have the happy-ending round up.
It's got a few small laughs, and Dr. Sloane is likable. I'm not saying it's amazing, but it is light and fun. His has a caring persistence, which often causes a little friction between him and his son, the head of the LA homicide squad, though everything is forgiven once the bad guy's/lady's in cuffs.
