Akuyoe Graham: Flight Attendant
Quotes
-
Al Haynes : [over the P.A] Folks, this is Captain Haynes. Here's a little update: we're currently cruising at 37,000 feet, just passing over the town of Alta, Iowa, estimating arrival in Chicago right on time. Weather along our flight route will be perfect. We hope you're enjoying your lunch.
[flight attendant knocks on the door]
Al Haynes : Come in!
[flight attendant enters, brings the food trays]
Flight Attendant : We're still high on Aloha food. Who wants the Ahi tuna?
Bill Records : Mahalo!
[an explosion rocks the aircraft, and a deafening, high-pitched engine noise starts]
Al Haynes : What the hell?
Bill Records : Low pressure going on two!
Al Haynes : Two's gone. Shut it off.
Bill Records : Number two throttle's stuck there.
Al Haynes : Okay, emergency shut down. Engine start lever and fire handle to cut-off.
[Records pulls down a red lever, and it visibly reduces noise and vibration]
Bill Records : Okay, that's good.
Al Haynes : The elevator's sluggish.
Dudley Dvorak : We're losing hydraulic pressure.
Al Haynes : We need back-up hydraulics!
Dudley Dvorak : Roger.
[flips a switch, all lights indicate "Pressure Low"]
Dudley Dvorak : [frantically] Backup's two and three losing pressure too, Skipper!
