The film concerns three brothers living in poverty. the protagonist (the eldest of the lot) has just been to prison, and has to return after one weekend of freedom, till he gets paroled. one of his siblings is crippled. the youngest is a bit whacked out, and wants to take the easy way out by robbing a store, while the eldest tries to convince him otherwise. the story is not really original, and we've seen these kind of characters before. still, it is a realistic approach to teen angst and urban decay, and even though it makes you think of MEAN STREETS (among others), it holds up okay in its own way.
