Storyline

Picket Fences deals with life in a small town - in this case the town of Rome, Wisconsin; it centers around the Brock Family. Jimmy Brock is the Sheriff of the town and likes to think he's the center of attention. His wife Jill is the town doctor; they have three children: Kimberly, 18, Matthew, 13 and Zachary, 10. A lot happens in this small town from bizarre murders to rape, assault, drunk driving, kidnapping & spontaneous human combustion. It seems that all the crimes that have occurred in the whole of the United States have at one point or another happened in Rome and they have to deal with it in their own quirky way. Trivia

There are two communities named Rome in Wisconsin. One is an Adams county resort town with a population of around 2,500, and the other is a Jefferson County unincorporated town with a population of under 600. Neither Rome is in proximity to Green Bay. Hogan County, the location of Rome is fictional (there is no county named Hogan in any of the fifty states). See more »

we get Saved By the Bell seasons on DVD, and not Picket Fences?!?!?!

For the love of all things good in this world...RELEASE "PICKET FENCES" on DVD. It was the BEST show EVER in the history of television. All of you fans of "Picket Fences" out there in imdb world, write David E. Kelley, or CBS, or TNN--whoever owns the rights to the show--and DEMAND it be released. There is no justice in the world until this is done.
