As far as Swedish sitcom's go they are very rarely funny!
Consider the fact that the funniest shows in Scandinavia have all been Swedish/Norwegian re-makes of successful British productions: "Albert & Herbert" a re-make of Galton & Simpson's "Steptoe and Son", "Fleksnes fataliteter" was Galton & Simpson's "Hancock's Half Hour" and "Fredrikssons fabrikk" Woolfe & Chesney's "The Rag Trade".
"Kusiner i kubik" however, was somewhat a nice surprise. In short the show was about a thirty-something man sharing a small flat with his good-for-nothing cousin, and having his little old mother butting in whenever she felt like it. The two male leads did a good job and feisty Sickan Carlsson (in her late 70's at the time) was in top form as the mother.
I think a re-run is in order.
