The post-retirement season is suddenly disrupted for football player George Papadapolis and his wife Katherine when Webster, the orphaned son of a former teammate, moves in. Laughter -- and life lessons -- in every episode.
Popular comedian Mark Curry plays Mr. Mark Cooper, a single high school teacher and basketball coach living in Oakland, California. Between coaching, teaching, dealing with neighborhood struggles and living with two beautiful female roommates (played by Holly Robinson Peete and Dawnn Lewis), Mr. Cooper keeps a humorous, positive outlook on life and provides advice and fun to the many people in his life that he encounters. The show also stars Omar Gooding as one of Cooper's students and basketball players Earvin Rodman. The show became more family orientated in the second season, adding Raven-Symone and Nell Carter while dropping Dawnn Lewis. Written by

The show remained a family show from then on. See more »
This show was hilarious. All of the cast was great, especially the star Mark Curry who was the funniest. I had many great moments laughing at this show. It is a classic show. Everything about this show was pure gold. I was saddened to know this show was cancelled. That was a shame. That is why I'm thankful for reruns.
