Trivia

In the episode where Mr. Cooper plays basketball for the Golden State Warriors, the practice scenes were taped at the Warriors' home court in Oakland (CA), but the game itself was recorded at the University of California's gymnasium in Berkeley; it was an actual pre-season game against Phoenix (AZ), held in Berkeley because Kevin Johnson, who was playing for the Suns after graduating from Cal, was having his college number retired that night. The scenes of Mark Curry playing were not specially scripted; he did, in fact, actually play in the game. See more »

I can't believe that a show like Mr.Cooper could ever become cancelled. All the characters are so funny... I laugh so hard when watching it that my sides hurt. I'm very thankful that there are still re-runs 10 years later!
