Storyline
Short-lived spinoff to "Head of the Class". Billy MacGregor, the wacky Scot who took over the IHP class after Mr. Moore left, has moved on now that Filmore High is rubble. He has decided to move to California (with his plant, Ringo). In order to avoid being deported, Billy marries a working mother with kids. I really enjoyed this when NZ TV decided to show it. I don't know how many episodes there were, but the humour was quick and with young children it was something we could enjoy together. I hope that it is released on DVD because my mottled old VHS copy is not really working that well! Billy Connolly seemed to be playing himself and the others were around him. The kids were really good and I'm surprised that the mother has not appeared on our screens since then - maybe she has in the US but not here, to my knowledge. the story lines were simple but not lame and it was highly enjoyable. I understand that the time slots in the USA were not kind to it.
