Storyline

Although this movie is about the Playboy magazine, there are no erotic scenes. Instead it tells the story of three women, who seem to have nothing in common: Abigail is college student at Yale and daughter of one of the professors; Meredith is a married mother and owner of a bowling alley; Janet is a successful broker -- yet all of them decide to pose for the Playboy adult magazine, shocking their dears, friends and co-workers. They have to suffer the consequences, but manage to turn it into a precious experience of life. Written by Tom Zoerner <Tom.Zoerner@informatik.uni-erlangen.de>

Lynda Carter's performance makes this movie
24 March 1999 | by (San Juan, Puerto Rico) – See all my reviews

Lynda Carter proves to be a better actress than people conceive her as in her portrayal of a Wife and Mother that poses for Playboy. Another great character is the "slutty" twin sister played by Josie Bissett of Melrose Place. Josie's acting in this movie is much better than in the cheesy Melrose.

Overall, this movie is credible, but might be a disappointment for people who want to see skin.
