Storyline

Angelo "Snaps" Provolone made his dying father a promise on his deathbed: he would leave the world of crime and become an honest businessman. Despite having no experience in making money in a legal fashion, Snaps sets about to keep his promise. He is faced with numerous problems: henchmen who know nothing but crime, the police who are convinced he is hatching a master plan, and Oscar, who has just got his daughter pregnant. Trivia

One night, after filming wrapped, a fire destroyed several sets, many of the actors' trailers (among them Tim Curry's), all of the costumes, and twenty-one valuable vintage cars. Production was halted for two weeks while they were remaking all of the costumes. A Universal security guard hired to guard the cars later admitted to setting the fire. See more »

Goofs

When Aldo points the revolver at Anthony when Anthony admits to stealing from Snaps, the cylinder is askew, which would prevent the gun from firing as the firing pin would have struck between chambers. See more »

Perky up-beat comedy that'll make you laugh.
19 October 2002 | by (London) – See all my reviews

Personally, I love this film.

You look past the Syvester Stallone attempt at comedy, you're left with a neat fast paced funny film that'll make you laugh. How many things can go wrong and backfire between 8am and 12noon? Well, there's 3 possible husbands for a pregnant daughter who isn't pregnant. One of whom wants to marry the father's other daughter who isn't his daughter............don't even get me started on the 3 bags of money/jewels/knickers.

I could watch this film over and over again. In fact - I have.
