Goofs

When Michael finds out that K.I.T.T. has been completely dismantled, there are boxes which hold most of his parts. You can see a normal car steering wheel sticking out on the top box. K.I.T.T. never had a steering wheel; he had a steering yoke. See more »

Quotes

Shawn McCormick: Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you leave the Foundation in 1990 to run an unprofitable bass charter?
Shawn McCormick: [Michael does not reply] It seems you get along better with fish than you do with people.
Michael Knight: Hey, I know some fish with better personalities than you.

Improved sequel and TV insurance
17 April 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

In the days of the video cassette the original Knight Rider was hard to find. Although released on VHS it was not mainstream. One day I came across this at my local video shop a sequel that was the only Knight Rider product predominantly released on video and so I was curios. The sequel in writing surpasses the original with a more coherent storyline and a better lead that is female, which one can take seriously and fits in better with the scenario of the series making the lead one to admire an example being she is well spoken. The characters in a wider sense are better and fit in well within the storyline. The futuristic setting is good and imaginary with later technological developments that are intertwined in later civic life based on the breakthroughs happening in the early 90s. The look of the new car also fits in with this time making it futuristic. The only critic I have of it is that it lacks the charm of the original as the Pontiac Firebird had a more slick look to it and the music. But in the writing, setting and theme there was great improvement although at times it got a bit corny. In some offbeat manner these key strengths surpass the original had these strengths of been combined with the original series it would of been better. I personally do not believe in sequels but this one acts as insurance against those previous mistakes and is a noble successor
