Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) is seen nude from the rear as he is dragged toward a shower while shooting a scene.

Violence & Gore

Gory rituals involving the slaughter of pigs and water buffaloes. A brief scene shows actors dressed as bloody corpses and some decaying animal carcasses are also seen.

Profanity

Some strong profanities, but nothing too serious if the viewer has already seen Apocalypse Now.

Mentions of speed, marijuana and acid. Several actors are seen smoking.

The ritualistic animal sacrifice might be upsetting, but the scene is brief.
