Storyline

Two lone riders and childhood friends, the rough and silent Harley Davidson and the ragged sun-baked cowboy Marlboro, assemble once more when they learn that their favourite hangout and the place where they grew up, the notorious Rock 'n' Roll Bar and Grill is facing imminent foreclosure. For this reason, against the preposterous demands for a new contract, the two lifelong buddies in unflinching determination to win back the bar, they will decide to hold up the corrupt bank's armoured car, unbeknownst to them that its cargo is not money but a new lethal and highly experimental street drug: the Crystal Dream. Now the bank wants it back and they are unstoppable. Is everything lost for Harley and Marlboro, the two well-meaning but amateurish thieves? Written by Nick Riganas

Trivia

In numerous interviews, Mickey Rourke has said that he signed on to this film purely for financial reasons. He said it made him feel "like a sell-out" and fueled his descent into self-loathing in the mid-1990s. See more »

Goofs

The baggage from the carry being loaded on the aircraft where Harley and Marlboro are hiding not only doesn't finish (baggage remains on the cart) both two loaders are missing. Since they need to sign off the loading of the aircraft, their absence could have only been explained by their being on the aircraft itself.

This alone would be enough to prevent the aircraft from taking off and Harley and Marlboro would have been arrested/ or least questioned. See more »

Quotes

Marlboro: You know, that gun costs about two dollars every time you fire it. That's two bucks a bullet.
Harley Davidson: Well how many'd I hit?
Marlboro: You spent twelve dollars and didn't hit a goddamn thing. I nailed one and it cost about four and a quarter.

One of my favorites

Look, this movie is one of the most fun movies I've ever watched. Its not some heady uber intelligent movie for one to contemplate and discuss afterwards what the other possible motives might be in the characters. Its for quoting not discussing. Its a buddy movie, its fun and it was in my opinion well done by all with good performances from a majority of the cast. If its on i cant help but watch it if only to see a couple of the great quotes in it as well as the action. I hope Mickey doesn't truly feel like a sell out for this movie because it was in fact a very well done movie and something that was a great deal of fun for many people that were even already fans from as far back as 9.5 weeks.
