Storyline

The Scarlet Speedster has faced many tough foes, but none present a challenge like James Jesse. After his murder attempt on a private detective was foiled, James vows to defeat the Flash as the costumed crook, The Trickster. With his insane genius making him seemingly the only villian who can counter the superhero's incredible speed with mundane materials, The Flash has a real fight on his hands. The Trial of the Trickster
7 February 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This "movie" was just the season finally (and it ended being the series)of the Flash TV show. In it the Trickster, a psychotic magician who was caught in a previous episode, breaks out of his trail and goes on a mad spree through the town, even brainwashes the Flash. This shouldn't be viewed as a stand alone movie, it is part of a series and is the wrap up to the 22 episodes that precede it. Also to comment on a previous comment by JR, the Trickster didn't come from the future, that was another episode with a villain named The Ghost. The episode was entitled "The Ghost in the Machine." I personally love this series as a whole and this episode is on of my top favorites, but i don't think it should have ever been produced as a stand alone movie, especially since they changed the title to the Trickster's Revenge when the 2 hour episode was called "The Trial of the Trickster." Thats the end of my fanboy commenting.
