Storyline

Susan and Paul are working late on the 37th floor of a LA sky-scraper. Also in the building are the cleaning staff, security and some engineers installing sprinklers. Right on cue, as the water is switched off so that work on the sprinklers can continue, a fire starts on one of the lower floors (15?). The title says it all. Written by Rob Hartill

Trivia

Based on the real-life 1988 fire at the First Interstate Tower in downtown Los Angeles, the lobby scenes for this telefilm were shot at the neighboring Wells Fargo Bank building. In at least one shot, firefighters are seen standing and looking at the "fire" with the site of the actual fire behind them. Years later, Wells Fargo would acquire First Interstate and its various banking subsidiaries. See more »
