Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she would have made her film debut alongside a '90s rapper, it wasn't for an influential family member.

"My father was very protective of me and the first movie, actually, that I ever got offered was to be in the Vanilla Ice movie," Gwyneth Paltrow told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

The actress said she was offered the female lead in 1991's "Cool As Ice."

Best of Late Night TV: Blake Shelton Throws Food, Gwyneth Paltrow Rejects Vanilla Ice (Video)

4 September 2014 1:09 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

"The Voice" coach Blake Shelton stopped by "The Tonight Show" and played a round of Random Object Football Toss with host Jimmy Fallon, in celebration of the start of football season on Thursday night. The pair attempted to throw items through a target, with mixed results, mostly because the objects were so odd (and mostly food-related). A bowl of eight-layer bean dip ended up making the biggest mess, though unsurprisingly, it was also the most fun for Shelton and Fallon to toss.

Shelton sat down with Fallon to discuss the host's recent purchase of a truck, with the country crooner offering up some advice on how best to care for the vehicle. »

Craziest music films ever made: Beware of Mr Baker, Cool as Ice, Dig!

6 July 2014 1:30 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

What goes on tour stays on tour – unless it's caught on camera. With classic Beatles comedy A Hard Day's Night returning to UK cinemas on July 4, and Metallica's triumphant set at Glastonbury reminding us how far they've come from darker days, now feels like the time to look back on some of the movies that prove that maxim.

Below, we catalogue the craziest music movies ever made, helpfully divided into four distinct categories of weirdness.

Bad Behaviour

Beginning with its 70-something subject attacking the director with his walking stick, Beware Of Mr Baker (2012) introduces a man – ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker – so bellicose he's made the whole world his practice kit. Like Brick Top from Snatch with even greater anger-management issues, Baker is a bitter old codger who "communicates more through his drums than his words", according to his long-suffering daughter. He certainly doesn't mince the latter.
