Little seen australian film, with a wannabee exploitation feel to it
jackieb7 July 1999
This little seen Australian film was one of the first efforts by extraordinary actor , Tim Roth. Whilst the movie itself is cheaply and inexpensively done, (and the plot and script had little or no value,) Tim Roth proves that he can turn even the worst movie around by his performance. The movie itself a 'twisted' story of a married couple living in the middle of nowhere on a gas line range, bring an extra employee into there home, and where they work. Soon the husband, Jack begins to 'Backslide' and the rest, well it sorta takes on a cheap slasher-esque fell to it, although 'backsliding' from christianity is an odd choice for a storyline. Although the high point of the film is Tim Roth, and a goat, trapped in a box. In all this film is a rare treat for Tim Roth fans, and Australian exploitation films.
