Trivia

The DeLorean uses the "Gale-Zemeckis Coordinates," a reference of the writer of Back to the Future (1985) Bob Gale, and the film's director Robert Zemeckis. See more »

Goofs

Look closely at the security monitor when the dog is watching them and and see Biff is taunting the security cameras with a dog bone in his mouth. Likely this was used to get the dog to bark at the security monitor. Where he got the bone from and where he was keeping it is never seen. It's not seen in his mouth in the direct shots before and after the scene. See more »

Crazy Credits

Because this is presented as a ride "experience" and not a film, no credits are shown on screen. However, "directed by Douglas Trumball", "Music by Alan Silvestri", "Special Effects by ILM" and several other credits are posted on a plaque near the exit to the ride. See more »

Awesome and Fast-Paced!!

Step into the DeLorean, set the clock back to 1955, and hang on for you life!

"Back to the Future...the Ride" at Universal Studios, is based n the movie series "Back to the Future." Biff Tannen has stolen the time machine, and the audience along with Doc Brown, must recover it. In this fast paced adventure, audiences sit in a DeLorean and hang on for their life as they fly. Can you stop Biff???

I first rode "Back to the Future...The Ride" in March 1997 in Orlando, and was amazed by the action. I like "Back to the Future," so I was excited about riding this. The bad part: I was crammed between my mother and father, and 5 years ago, at age 14, I weighed 117 pounds at 5'4". This may not seem bad, but I was smashing into my dad the whole time, and my parents said because of my side and tendency to slide around they did not ride with me again. When I returned in April '99, I weighed about 8 pounds more and rode only with my brother I held on tight and only slid around a few times.

This is an amazing ride that will keep the audience excite all the way to the end. When in Orlando, please ride "Back to the Future." You will really enjoy it.
