A sour poem well done by director Juanma Bajo Ulloa.
27 August 2013 | by (Spain) – See all my reviews

A humble marriage longs for a child, but fate gives them a girl. Soon comes the desired child. It's a shocking drama film about a girl and her family. She is a daughter who loves her mother, and her mother who has not eyes for her. There is some jealousy with consequences. A family marked by tragic events that the daughter will wring your thoughts. A negative atmosphere fills the entire movie in a story extremely pessimistic, and some very good performances that give the story the credibility it needs.

Machismo, jealousy, depression, alcoholism, rape, death, illness, isolation, madness ... Juanma Bajo Ulloa takes all these ingredients and authentic riding a horror film in which the characters moved by almost as much as scare. And the movie has good performances, great photography, music and unquestionable unmistakable script.

"Alas De Mariposa" is a poem of great strength, sour and dedicated to the Innocence and disappointment of children.
