Set in Noel Edmonds' fictitious grand house in the equally fictitious town of Crinkley Bottom, the show centres around games involving the studio audience and special guest celebrities. On March 6th 1993, "Noel's House Party" could not be broadcast due to an IRA bomb scare. Noel Edmonds took to the "Children's BBC" Broom Cupboard to announce that evening's show was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and would return the following Saturday and "Noel's House Party" was replaced by a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
