About as lame as it gets.
15 March 2005 | by (Hollywood, CA) – See all my reviews

With ample due respect to the other contributors, this show is ABOUT AS LAME AS IT GETS. I'm watching an episode as I type this and what a burden. It's the one where the TV dad can't find a job in the "new" world? Just terrible. Somewhere I read that they would have old TV stars on to spice things up. It kind of worked, this episode had nothing to offer until the end when Grandpa Lewis from the Munsters shows up for a weird cameo. Having recently acquired a large TV videotape archive I've been spending too much time watching crud like this lately. Previously I hadn't even heard of this show before. EVER. First and foremost, the writing. Absolutely bottom rung. Secondly, the acting. Although as bad as the writing was, no acting could be appropriate. And thirdly, this show looks terrible too. Minimalist set designs, (I think I saw 3 total sets in the whole show) and cheap, cheap production values. Hair, wardrobe, all of it. UNLESS YOU GET A COPY FOR FREE AND HAVE TIME TO WASTE, GIVE THIS ONE A MISS!
