Trivia

The Funnie's neighbors are the Dinks. Their name stems from the acronym D.I.N.K. which stands for "double income, no kids". This is a slang term that refers to a childless couple where both people work and are, therefore, more affluent than families with dependents. See more »

A high point in the NICK toons
19 April 2000 | by (Ardmore, PA) – See all my reviews

Doug was one of the first NICK Toons and it is still one of the better ones. Compared to the newer ones, this Doug show is much better than the newer NICK Toons. The animation is standard and normal for cartoons today. A lot of the plots seemed boring to me though, but all the episodes had their moments.
