This is really a very good TV-movie with a very good plot: A female (yes, female!) computer-geek is hacking a satellite-broadcast of a very famous TV-crime-series called "Archibald Smith". As far as I know there is no real TV-series with this title. Anyway: With this Satellite-hack she's loading her neighbor right up into the TV-series as the hero "Archibald Smith".
This movie is very, very cool, but unfortunately it hasn't been broadcast in Germany for quite a while. So please GermanTV RE-AIR THIS.
If you expect a Hollywood-blockbuster with lot's of special effects, remember that this is 1. made for TV and 2. it's from 1990. But the fantastic plot and the really good actors are worth it. If you ever get the chance to watch it - don't miss it & have a lot of fun.
