Rajiv Rai was one of the prominent directors who used to direct entertaining masala movies in the late 80s and early 90s. This movie and Mohra are the pinnacle of his achievements. Sunny Deol is at his badass best as the honest cop. I personally can't think of any other actor who could play a better action hero( maybe Sanjay Dutt). Nasseruddin Shah treads into the unfamiliar territory of commercial movies and does a bravura job (in-spite of the tacky dialogues ). Jackie Shroff completes the trinity. The ladies provide great eye candy and the soundtrack brings back pleasant memories from a long lost childhood. Viju Shah is at his phenomenal best. I do hope they remake this classic soon.
