Will Arnold Schwarzenegger Make A Cameo In The Predator?

When any of us recall our favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, we tend to bring up his more iconic offerings from the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Although Raw Deal will likely continue to be criminally overlooked, the likes of The Terminator, Commando and Total Recall are often among the most fondly remembered. But, if you repeatedly find yourself in a situation that requires you get to the chopper with haste, then Predator is probably the action flick for you.

That being said, we’re all aware that whenever a beloved franchise is revived on the big screen these days, it’s not uncommon for the filmmakers to try to lure familiar actors from the originals back, be it in a large role or a mere cameo. As such, Schwarzenegger has been brought up in conversation many times already in regards to the next Predator film. Unfortunately, however, everything we’ve heard

RoboCop Scribe Hints At Possible Sequel Booting Online At MGM

It wasn’t all that long ago when Hollywood’s leading studios became fixated on remaking the sci-fi classics of yesteryear.

Take RoboCop, as an example. Two years after Len Wiseman’s middling modernization of Total Recall – ironically one of the more forgettable redos in recent memory – and director José Padilha named Joel Kinnaman as Detroit’s cyborg law enforcer. And though the reboot was propped up by a stellar supporting cast, which included Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish and Jackie Earle Haley, the RoboCop of 2014 struggled to leave a lasting impression on its audience.

Fast forward to now, and it seems there’s a brand new model of OmniCorp’s enforcer being built in the bowels of MGM. At least, that’s according to original RoboCop screenwriter Ed Neumeier, who hinted to Zeitgeist Entertainment Magazine (via ComicBook.com) that a new movie is indeed on the cards.

Things have moved on a great deal since the days of Rico’s Roughnecks and Neil Patrick Harris’s wonderful military uber-scientist. The war with the bugs is still ongoing, and bloodier than ever. Each of the movie sequels has broken off from the main events of the first film and taken a more intimate look at the ravages of constant war. Eliza Dushku's Mother Says She Was Afraid of Her Daughter's Alleged Abuser Too
A woman claiming to be Eliza Dushku‘s mother said on Facebook that she wished she had been brave enough to stand up to her daughters’s alleged abuser.

In an emotional Facebook post on Saturday, Eliza alleged that stunt coordinator Joel Kramer sexually molested her during the filming of 1994’s True Lies when she was just 12 years old — an incident that she claims she told her a handful of people about including her mother, but that no one, including herself, “seemed ready to confront taboo subject” at the time. (Kramer did not immediately respond to People’s request for comment,

Sony announced in September 2016 that they are working on a Valiant Comics movie universe which will span five movies, two Bloodshot movies, and two Harbinger movies, concluding with a Harbinger Wars event movie. There has been no indication as to whether Bloodshot or Harbinger will actually move forward first, but since Bloodshot has found its leading man, it wouldn't be surprising if this project starts production soon.

There was a report back in August that Dave Bautista was eyed for Eternal Warrior in this new Valiant Comics universe, while Jared Leto was being eyed to play Bloodshot. While the Jared Leto report was not confirmed, now the studio is going in another direction with Vin Diesel coming aboard to play Bloodshot. This new report also claims

Book Review – The Switch by Justina Robson

Michelle Herbert reviews The Switch by Justina Robson…

The Switch throws you straight into its story, where we find Nico, the main character, standing before a judge about to be sentenced to death for a crime he cannot remember committing. On the way to Nico’s execution, we follow Nico’s life story from his time at an orphanage where he meets Twostar, to the events leading up to Nico’s current predicament.

Through Nico we learn more about the world of Harmony, where everyone is made to alchemic perfection, meaning that you should be coded with one moon, and one sun, which would mean in any other allegory that you are straight. Being born with a genetic defect, such as having two moons or two suns, means that you are not wanted by this society. Eventually, people born with these kinds of defects end up in Chaontium. Chaontium is the dark side of Harmony,

The star and writer of “The Big SickKumail Nanjiani took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to share a humble and unforgettable encounter he had with director Rian Johnson, whose film “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will rule the box office this coming weekend. This encounter happened in 2012, before Nanjiani starred in HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” when he was doing interviews on a San Diego Comic-Con red carpet.

Nanjiani details in his 12-tweet thread how stressful the job was for him to do interviews on a red carpet, a situation only made worse by an interviewee who was extremely rude to him and made a mockery of him.

After that unfortunate encounter, Nanjiani went to the “Total Recall” and “Looper” red carpet and saw that Johnson was one of the people he was interviewing. Never leaving his comedic charm aside, Nanjiani recounts how the situation could have gone so much

The Days Of Thunder vs Dick Tracy blockbuster rivalry

Simon Brew Dec 4, 2017

The summer of 1990 was supposed to be a showdown between Dick Tracy and Days Of Thunder. It was a bit of an odd rivalry...

It would be fair to say that the top five movies at the Us box office in 1990 didn’t follow the rule book. In fact, 1990 saw Hollywood’s blockbuster formula falter, to the point that conversations were rife about whether a sea change was coming. Dramtic changes in blockbuster mentality were certainly on the way, as it happened, but not for a decade or so. Yet the seed was planted in 1990 that sure-fire blockbuster hits weren’t always, well, sure-fire blockbuster hits.

If the opening shot of Justice League wrong-footed you, then rest assured: it wasn’t only regular audiences who were left startled by Superman’s uncanny valley face. A brief scene designed to reintroduce a gentler, kinder First Son of Krypton, the superhero epic’s opening instead sparked widespread discussions about Henry Cavill’s top lip.

As was commonly reported before Justice League’s release, the cast of DC-Warner’s movie were recalled for extensive reshoots during post-production, during which time Cavill had already signed up for a role in Mission: Impossible 6 - a part that required him to grow a moustache.
