Jane Fonda Ready for Hollywood Comeback
7 May 2003 (WENN)
Sixties screen beauty Jane Fonda is planning a Hollywood comeback by agreeing to a new Cameron Crowe directed movie. The actress, who wowed film fans in 1968 playing sex-starved space explorer Barbarella, hasn't appeared on the big screen since 1990 movie Stanley & Iris. But the 65-year-old is reportedly "deep in talks" with Vanilla Sky director Crowe about starring in his next project. A source tells American gossip site The Scoop, "In the past, Jane has said she's not interested in returning to acting. "So she's trying to keep this project hush-hush in case it doesn't happen. "She was making movies for 30 years. She's really eager for something to work out. If this doesn't, something else will."
