The Snowy Peaks ski patrol is one diverse crew. They consist of Jerry, the senior member who loves skiing and is in love with Ellen, a ski school instructor at Snowy Peaks; Iceman, singer and master of impressions; Eddie, the demolition and explosives expert; Stanley, who has failed to make the patrol seven years in a row; and Tiana, a foreign exchange patroller who likes Stanley. Did You Know?
A "Siskel and Ebert Fruit Cart" appears in the movie in reference to Roger Ebert's glossary of movie terms where, under the title "Fruit Cart!", it's explained that during any chase scene involving a foreign or ethnic locale, a fruit cart will be overturned during the chase, and an angry peddler will run into the middle of the street to shake his fist at the hero's departing vehicle. In the last few minutes of the film the characters Stanley and Tiana are riding together within a convoy of snow machines when Stanley hears calls for help. To get Tiana to stop and pull over he mistakenly calls Tiana by her real name, "Tess", he says. In his next line Stanley clearly calls her Tiana as he should. See more
