Did You Know?
When the film first started production, it was given the false title "Tiger On The Beat 3." The first two "Tiger on the Beat" films, as well as this film, were produced by Cinema City. This movie had been titled "Tiger on the Beat 3" because another company wanted to make another sequel to the "Tiger On The Beat" Series, starring Conan Lee (the star of the previous two films). Cinema City did not want this to happen so they titled this movie "Tiger On The Beat 3," forcing the rival company to abandon the project. After the rival company dropped out of the plan, Cinema City retitled this movie to "Skinny Tiger, Fatty Dragon."

Kuang Ni, who plays the father of Fatty (Sammo Hung), was also the script-writer on Sammo's earlier film, Fei Lung gwoh gong.
