In a 2009 interview with the Houston, Texas, magazine "OutSmart," Tom Hulce said that while they were shooting this movie outside of Atlanta, Georgia, there was a call for extras to appear in a Ku Klux Klan rally scene, and some of the potential extras brought their own personal Klan outfits. I saw this movie on TV tonight. My girlfriend and me where really shocked, that terrible things like this happend: and even worse, no one got convicted!
I hope that people learn from movies like this, it's put together real good. --> really get's you at the heart & soul, even makes you feel a little guilty.
