Storyline

Det. Jack Miller marries beautiful young rookie Kim Mueller while working in Germany, not realizing that his stateside divorce to Sgt. Bonnie Miller never actually went through. Returning to the United States with his new bride, Jack manages to get Kim posted at his old precinct; unfortunately, it turns out that her new ranking sergeant is Jack's not-quite-ex-wife Bonnie. Sparks fly between the two women as Jack tries to resolve the situation. Before anything is settled, Jack is killed on duty. Eventually, Sergeant Bonnie Miller and Det. Kim Mueller form an uneasy truce as they and team members Charles Mapper, Carlos Gutierrez, and Peter Hall fight crime and solve quirky cases in the inner city.

Crying out for release
11 July 2016 | by See all my reviews

I remember watching this series way back in the early nineties and it was one of the only things I saw the gorgeous Suzanne Savoy in. I have two films where she has made fleeting appearances, but Miller and Mueller was the only thing I saw her in which stayed with me, not least for the fact that she is so sexy, she was wonderful in it and I enjoyed the mini series. Alas, of course, it's never been released on DVD or blu-ray, but DVD would have done for me. WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN RELEASED? It's a great mini series crying out for a release and why no one has bothered is beyond me. I hate it when things like this are broadcast like way back like that and no one even bothers to release the damn thing, possibly because it had low audience figures or something equally stupid and money driven. Sorry if this sounds so angry or bitter, but I am a little bit of both, particularly about this. I have searched high and low all over the net on IMDb and even spoke on Facebook to Suzanne Savoy, and she actually replied and told me a bit about it, (imagine my amazement at a reply from the sexy and amazing Suzanne Savoy!), but I have learned one thing, there is no release anywhere. It surprises me with the Germans too, since it was, and I learned this from Suzanne too, a co-US-German mini series production, and the Germans are usually so efficient with this kind of thing. I have many films on blu ray that are German releases. Come on out there people, whoever you are, whoever has the mini series rights and can put it out, please do so, I am a fan and I miss it.
