Sex & Nudity

  • Young boys are seen usually in underwear or scraps of it that sometimes almost reveal genitals.
  • One boy's buttocks are briefly seen.

Violence & Gore

  • a pigs head is decapitated and we see muscle tissue, and then the head is pinned on a stick, this image is seen multiple times throughout. The actual decapitation is offscreen but we see them pull the head off and put on the stick.
  • A boy is stabbed and beaten to death by another group of boys. All that is seen is the boys stabbing at something off the screen. The dead boy is seen afterwords with bloody holes in him.
  • A boulder falls on a boy's neck and cracks his skull. You see blood on and around his head. (Looks very fake).
  • A boy is beaten and whipped by another group of boys.
  • A man is stabbed by a young boy visiting a cave

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man jumps out at a boy exploring a cave and he is stabbed
  • A storm tears through the island, causing a lot of destruction.
  • Jack's character comes off very sociopathic and sadistic, which may disturb some viewers.
  • The most disturbing scene is when the group of boys ties a smaller boy down and whip him for a few seconds. The only reason they do this is because Jack told them to.
  • The idea of being stranded on an island itself can be very unsettling to some.
  • suggested R for some graphic violence, disturbing images, some language and brief nudity.-all involving children.
