Mary J. Blige Gets Personal During Essence Fest: 'How Does Somebody Get to Cheat...and I Have to Pay for It?'
She’s a singer known for keeping it very real and while headlining the second night of Essence Fest in New Orleans, Mary J. Blige did just that.

Following a revealing interview earlier in the day where she discussed her contentious divorce battle with ex Kendu Isaacs, Blige, 46, took to the stage at New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz SuperDome on Saturday night and poured her broken heart out to fans.

“You can’t have two queens,” she said from the stage, during a segment where she was offering men in the audience advice on how to treat a woman. According to Blige,

'Han Solo' Spinoff Is Lawrence Kasdan's Last 'Star Wars' Movie

'Han Solo' Spinoff Is Lawrence Kasdan's Last 'Star Wars' Movie
Aside from George Lucas, one of the most important figures in the legacy of Star Wars is arguably Lawrence Kasdan. The filmmaker made his screenwriting debut on 1980's Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, co-writing the script with Leigh Brackett, and he returned to co-write Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi with George Lucas himself. More than 30 years later, he returned to co-write Star Wars: The Force Awakens with J.J. Abrams, and he is also writing the Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie with his son Jon Kasdan, which is set for release on May 25, 2018. During a new interview with the German newspaper Bild (translated by The Supernaughts), the writer revealed that the Han Solo Movie will be his last Star Wars film.

"This is my last film for this saga. I did not even want to do this last one anymore, but my family loved the idea.

Can't Stop The Glitter. Or the Best Shots.

glitter attack!True story. In the late 1990s after graduating college, before New York City and The Film Experience years, I was working as an artist at a company that specialized in parties and events. Every day in a big warehouse I was a hot mess of glue guns, paint rollers, foam shavings, and glitter. Glitter above all else. Three years later in New York City I was still finding glitter in the weirdest of places; that shit lasts forever.

I thought about this as soon as the opening credits of Allan Carr and Nancy Walker's Village People origin comedy, Can't Stop the Music (1980), our "Hmwybs" April Fools Selection. It was like the movie was blowing its glitter load in the first frame. Turns out there was no refractory period. The glitter just keeps on coming and not just over animated fonts. How Kevin Kline Lost His Las Vegas Virginity

In this weekend's ridiculously entertaining "Last Vegas," a group of elder statesmen take a trip to Las Vegas after one of them proposes to a young honey. The four old coots at the center of "Last Vegas" also happen to be classy, Oscar-winning actors (Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline), and it's wonderful to watch them bumble around the neon-drenched, scantily clad Las Vegas of today.

And while everyone (including the female lead, played by Mary Steenburgen) is an absolute hoot, if there had to be an Mvp designated (for the sheer amount of giggles provided), it would probably be Kline. As a man who is living in the retirement hell of Florida and stuck in a marriage that has lost the physical spark, he goes to Vegas looking for a fresh start (and a good lay -- his girlfriend gives him a "free pass" and

Keanu Reeves is a Queer Superhero

Recently, the intrepid co-hosts of Sound on Sight radio asked me to help host a podcast devoted to Keanu Reeves. I had been hoping for a long time that they would have just such a podcast, and I wanted to take this opportunity to explain a little bit more about why I find Reeves to be such a fascinating figure, and why I have spent so many hours of my life thinking about him and enjoying his films. It’s already fairly common knowledge that Reeves is a pretty spectacular human being. In terms of recounting his personal awesomeness, this article (http://www.ranker.com/list/the-7-greatest-_true_-keanu-reeves-stories-ever-told/joanne) does a better job than I ever could. Give it a glance. But being an amazing human hasn’t necessarily won Keanu the accolades he deserves in the artistic world. And so, in terms of arguing for his value as a film star,

Last week, Selena showed that she’s definitely not a diva when she gave some lucky fans while at Lax International Airport.

One of the folks involved tweeted, “Selena Gomez Is The Most Amazing Girl Ever! She just took me and my 2 Brazilian friends to a car ride at the airport!!!! Omg , now I love you to death.”

Ten Tasty Comedy Showdowns

As we prepare to see Will Ferrell square up to Zach Galifianakis in The Campaign, we thought we would take a fond retrospective dive into the comedy archives, and pull out a few ruckuses that have tantalised us over the years.

We’ll start with the kings of cerebral comedy themselves, ‘The Pythons.’

Monty Python & The Holy Grail (1975): King Arthur vs The French Knight

French Knight: ‘Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!’

King Arthur (Graham Chapman) and his knights encounter many ridiculous obstacles in their search for the holy grail, although none more so than the French Knight (John Cleese). Well, there is a killer rabbit, but it could never come up with something as offensive as the jibe, ‘I fart in your general direction.’

Even if the rest of the film was mind-numbingly dull, which it isn’t, this brief linguistic throw-down alone

Kevin Kline Joins Cast Of Legends For Last Vegas

Kevin Kline has been confirmed as the last member of a quartet of elderly male friends in the forthcoming Jon Turteltaub (Cool Runnings) comedy, Last Vegas. He will appear opposite Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Douglas in the film, which focuses on Douglas’ character – the last of the pals to get hitched – and his bodacious bachelor party in Las Vegas.

Kline may be replacing Christopher Walken who was rumoured to be pencilled in originally, but, either way, is an excellent choice as arguably the only natural comedian among the veteran actors. He won an Academy Award for his role in A Fish Called Wanda (1988), and also shone during his prolific partnership with director, Lawrence Kasdan, during the late eighties and early nineties; particularly in the black comedy, I Love You To Death (1990).

Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love) wrote the screenplay for Last Vegas, which will be produced by Laurence Mark,

Marriage Talk On 'Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp'

Marriage Talk On 'Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp'
Is it time to start talking about Brino on "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" (Tue., 11 p.m. Et on Lifetime). Things are getting more and more serious between Bristol and boyfriend Gino. So much that she simply had to ask him about the big m-word.

Gino played it coy, saying, "It’s in God’s hands." He may or may not have something planned, but he's certainly not ready to say if he is concocting a proposal.

He was willing to tell her that he can't imagine being with anyone else. "I know that I love you to death. And I know that I love Tripp," he told her.

It was a genuine and sweet moment between the couple that had fans of the show "oohing" and "awwing" at home, if their Tweets are any indication. Could this inaugural season be building to a marriage proposal?

Kevin Kline on Shooting Independent Films, His Mumblecore Resentment and Making 'Darling Companion'
Actor Kevin Kline has had a long career in Hollywood, but some of his greatest collaborations have been with director/writer Lawrence Kasdan. Together, the two have worked on six films including "The Big Chill," "Silverado," "I Love You to Death," "Grand Canyon," "French Kiss" and now their latest effort, "Darling Companion." "Darling Companion" marks Kasdan's first independent feature, but the film is just the latest in a line of many charting back to "The Ice Storm" for Kline. The actor sat down with Indiewire to discuss the differences between shooting independent and studio films, why he's worked with Kasdan so many times, the joys of filming in Utah and why he has no plans to do "mumblecore" any time soon. This is your sixth time working with Lawrence Kasdan and your first film together since 1993. So what brought you to this project? 1993 was the last time I...
