Good prison action.
16 December 2002 | by (Southampton, England) – See all my reviews

The Island Of Fire is pretty good for a prison movie mainly shot in Taiwan. The taiwanese version is better because it contains over 30 minutes of extra footage and unseen scenes. Including Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, Tony Leung and Andy Lau this film tells the story of four convicts (one innocent) struggling to cope with the prison atmosphere. A numerous amount of times they try to escape.
