the film is about royal hong kong police fighting against Vietnamese gorilla(actually thugs and terrorists)
a typical silly hong kong action film. the action looks well done..but the story is stupid, inconsistent, contrived just like any other typically bad Asian film.. the acting is hammy ,full of overacting. bad even by hong kong standard
the best of the film is Joyce Godenzi. probably the main interest of viewers is to see her perform many stunt work herself. that overhead kick is marvelous.
Joyce Godenzi, although not a good actress seems to be quite "versatile" ..I've seen her play both innocent young girl and sophisticated lady, now it's the action heroine.
almost every hongkongese film I've seen is action+comedy+sad story, but this film lacks the fun elements. so,that only makes it less enjoyable. you know comedic situation is a must in hong Kong cinema.just like dance is in Indian cinema.
