Mason Storm, a 'do it alone' cop, is gunned down at home. The intruders kill his wife, and think they've killed both Mason and his son too. Mason is secretly taken to a hospital where he spends several years in a coma. His son meanwhile is growing up thinking his father is dead. When Mason wakes up, everyone is in danger - himself, his son, his best friend, his nurse - but most of all those who arranged for his death Written by

After a firefight in which he fires two shots from a pistol holding at least seven, Storm racks the slide on the pistol, presumably to cock it before the next firefight, but this would be unnecessary as the next round in the magazine would already be loaded, and cocking it from this position would simply eject the next round. No round is ejected, and the pistol is revealed to be empty, as a round would be visible through the bullet ejection hole if there was one in the gun. See more »
Bruce Malmouth directed this action yarn that stars Steven Seagal as police officer Mason Storm(great name!) who is gunned down in his home, where his wife is killed, and he is in a coma for several years. One day, Mason awakens from his coma, and is immediately targeted for assassination by the same sinister forces that attacked him and his family in the first place. He is aided in his escape by his attractive nurse(played by Kelly Lebrock) as they both go on the run to find out who is responsible, and how to stop them. William Sadler plays a corrupt politician named Trent. Good action scenes, but film is much too far-fetched to be believed, with some most unlikely plot elements(like Mason's remarkably quick recovery!)
