Mason Storm, a 'do it alone' cop, is gunned down at home. The intruders kill his wife, and think they've killed both Mason and his son too. Mason is secretly taken to a hospital where he spends several years in a coma. His son meanwhile is growing up thinking his father is dead. When Mason wakes up, everyone is in danger - himself, his son, his best friend, his nurse - but most of all those who arranged for his death Written by
When escaping the ambush at the hideout, Mason drives the black jeep across a field (and crashes through a white pavilion) and one shot is flipped - you can see the bullet holes in the windscreen move around, and Mason at the wheel sitting on the wrong side of the car. >>>> ADD >>>: You will also notice that then the Jeep is approaching toward the viewer the license plate is on the viewer's left. After 6 cut out and cut back to the jeep it remains there on the 7th (and final) cut back to the Jeep the license plate is on the viewer's right side and the bullet holes in the windshield are mirrored placements on the opposite side. California license plate / tag is visible in the 7rd cut back to the Jeep and the driver (Seagal) is driving (with steering wheel in hands) on the opposite side.(left side of screen which would actually appear as if a right hand drive vehicle same as vehicles made to be driven in England). Next several cuts back to the Jeep the steering wheel is on the proper side till end of scene. See more »
Once again, Steven Seagal plays a cop, and this could have been the sequel to Above The Law(his first film). Steven Seagal is Mason Storm, and is gunned down with his family in 1984, after having taped a famous person discussing murder. However, Mason doesn`t die that easily, and he wakes up from his coma 6 years later. He escapes from the hospital, falls in love with his nurse, and begins hunting down the people who killed his family. The storyline in this movie is pretty basic Seagal-stuff: brotherhood, revenge etc. Overall a very entertaining movie, and the fight scenes are well fought by martial-art master Steven Seagal. 8/10
