Fifty Shades of Grey put on a dominating performance at the 36th annual Razzie Awards – the annual pre-Oscars event that celebrates the worst films of the year – as the cinematic adaptation "won" five Golden Raspberry Awards.

The Razzie Awards ended in a surprise tie. The critically drubbed superhero reboot "Fantastic Four" and the erotic romance "Fifty Shades of Grey" both won Worst Picutre, marking the category's first tie in 25 years. There have only been two other ties in Worst Picture history. In 1990, "The Adventures of Lord Fairlane" and "Ghosts Can't Do It" shared the prize, and in 1986 both "Howard the Duck" and "Under the Cherry Moon" prevailed.
