I saw this Film in the Curzon Cinema back in 1992. It was a wonderful experience. I knew instantly that I was watching a Classic and wanted to watch the Film again almost immediately. Quite simply this Film is a Masterpiece!
The Direction is assured, inspired and humorous. The Acting is intense, moving and subtle. The Cinematography is expansive, unobtrusive and beautiful.
One day this Film will be regarded as it is - One of the best Movies ever made.
