Storyline

The finale of the television series about Dr. David Banner, a scientist who transforms into a mighty, larger-than-life creature called the Hulk when he gets angry. Desperately attempting to purge himself of his monster-like alter ego, Banner sneaks into a research laboratory. During the critical experiment to purge him of the Hulk once and for all, a spy sabotages the laboratory. Banner falls in love with the spy, Jasmin, who performs missions only because her sister is being held hostage by Jasmin's superiors. Banner and Jasmin attempt to escape from the enemy agents to rebuild their lives together, but the Hulk is never far from them. Written by Dave Smith <dave@stat.colostate.edu>

Trivia

After the ratings failure of this film, NBC decided not to continue the series. CBS already wanted nothing to do with The Incredible Hulk, prior to The Incredible Hulk Returns (1989), so for the planned next installment, first Bill Bixby tried to reach an agreement with ABC and they turned him down, then he did the same for the Fox Network, who agreed to air another movie. Bixby and Fox were doing business together, until Bixby was diagnosed with prostate cancer, causing production with Bixby and the network shut down. See more »

Goofs

When Jasmin is cutting the window to break into the airport (near the end of the movie), she is cutting at the bottom of the window pane, with the lower cut being only an inch or so from the pane bottom. Immediately thereafter, when she is shown removing the freshly cut piece of glass, the section cut is now from the middle of the pane, about four to six inches higher than shown seconds before. Great film
18 March 2004 | by (California) – See all my reviews

The Incredible Hulk was my favorite series growing up and when they started doing these movies I was thrilled. I've watched every Hulk film they did including this and I didn't like the way they ended it. I loved the film I just would have given it a different ending. It's a very sad film to watch not just because it's the end of an era, but also because Bill Bixby is no longer with us. The world will miss his talent. He was a talented actor and a talented Director. I recently purchased all of the TV movies on DVD and they were suppose to do another Hulk film after this one, but after Bill's death this became impossible. This is a must see for fans of the series.
