Luke (Elijah Wood) is an eight years old boy who witnessed the murder of his father. Detective T. Bass (Tom Skerritt) calls the psychiatrist Dr. Hollis (the excellent and underrated actress JoBeth Williams) to assist the boy and get the name of the killer. However, the boy imagines the murderer as Captain Hook, trying to escape from the traumatic vision. Dr. Hollis gets closes to Luke and has an affair with Bass. The suspenseful end reveals many dirty secrets. This TV-movie is a good thriller, very supported by JoBeth Williams, Tom Skerritt and the presently famous Elijah Wood, who is introduced by this film with a great and important performance. A good entertainment. My vote is seven.
