Storyline

A friend delivers John Twiller greetings from a long gone high school girlfriend. This makes him open his school's yearbook - his "Book of Love" - and remember the old times, way back in 1956, when he was in his last year of high school and his family just moved to the town. He hung out with geeky Paul Kayne and tried to get the attention of Lily, who unfortunately was together with bully Angelo. Written by Tom Zoerner <Tom.Zoerner@informatik.uni-erlangen.de>

ONE OF THE BEST REVIVAL MOVIES OF ALL TIMES
21 July 2000 | by (Brescia, Italy) – See all my reviews

Book of Love is one of my favorite comedies: the cast is very good, and the performance of the actors is surprisingly fine for a film of that kind. It would have deserved more fortune than it had because it's far better than other acclaimed movies such as "American Pie" or "There's something about Mary".
