As tends to be the case with successful shows, “Narcos” is set to return to Netflix for its third season this fall. That’s more notable now than it might have been a few months ago, however, as the streaming giant is now in the habit of canceling certain series (sorry, “Sense8”). Five first-look photos and a video announcing the return date of September 1 have been shared exclusively with IndieWire; avail yourself of all below.

With Pablo Escobar no longer a factor, season three will focus on the rise of the Cali Cartel. How will you celebrate the birth of one of our most underrated supporting actresses of the stage and screen today? Will you:

hang out in a diorama and monologue about pain, as she did in Angels in America? drink and cuss up a storm, like her Emmy nominated Calamity Jane from Deadwood? break from procedure to help someone in need, like her Big Little Lies therapist? bump your head and get kinky, a la Concussion? have three distinct personas, like each different woman she played on Law and Order?

You Have Law and Order to Thank For Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann's Beautiful Love Story

23 June 2017 11:52 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann have a picture-perfect romance, and the story of how they got together is just as sweet. In 2001, the two costarred on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and their lives were changed forever. Even though things got off to a rocky start when Mariska tried to break the ice with a joke that he didn't think was very funny, she couldn't deny the way she felt around him. "I was tingly and jittery and different and excited and nervous and alive," she told Glamour in 2007. After getting engrossed in a discussion about religion, the two decided to attend church together, and that's when the sparks really flew. "I just about passed out when I saw him there," she told InStyle. "I thought, 'That's my husband.'" Despite being costars, it wasn't long after that the pair decided to pursue a relationship. Peter popped the question in 2004, and they made things official later that year during a ceremony at the Unitarian Historical Chapel in Santa Barbara, CA. After nearly 13 years of marriage, the couple are parents to three children, August, Amaya, and Andrew, and still look like honeymooners whenever they're together. »

The “Law and Order: Svu” star testified before the new Bipartisan Task Force to End Sexual Violence on June 16 about the fact that a significant number of sexual assault evidence kits, colloquially known as rape kits, go untested by police departments and crime labs. Each kit contains DNA evidence collected from the body of a victim of sexual assault, and so the backlog means that crimes aren’t being prosecuted. “These are not »

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit made Mariska Hargitay a household name in Hollywood, but it also affected her personal life a great deal - it's where she met her husband, Peter Hermann. The two first met in November 2001, when Peter had a recurring role on the hit series, but their relationship didn't take off until a few months later when they found themselves talking about religion. After attending church together, Mariska knew she had found the one. "I just about passed out when I saw him there," she said. "I thought, 'That's my husband.'" Peter popped the question in 2004, and they made things official later that year during a ceremony at the Unitarian Historical Chapel in Santa Barbara, CA.
